Moscow by Night City Tour by Car
Moscow combines the best of old and modern architecture. It is a city of long avenues and majestic squares, leafy boulevards, parks and gardens, the granite embankments and elegant bridges of the Moscow River. Our night tour showcases the best of the city’s unique cultural and historical sites, many of which are illuminated after sunset. Together with your guide, you’ll explore Moscow’s tourist highlights by car, making frequent stops to continue sightseeing on foot. We’ll visit Red Square, home of the 16th century Cathedral of St Basil whose colorful onion domes grace many an iconic photograph of the Russian capital. Our mode of transport enables us to cover more ground, so we’ll be also be able to see the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and learn something of its tragic history. We’ll stop at the Bolshoi Theatre, Victory Park, Moscow State University and Novodevichy Convent, often referred to as New Maiden’s Convent. It has a fascinating cemetery, final resting place of Chekhov, Shostakovich, Khrushchev and more, which is all the more atmospheric by night.
