Kazan - Arena Stadium
The last of the four venues being used during the Confederations Cup is the Kazan Arena. Built for the Summer World University Games in 2013, this is another modern and well-equipped stadium that has been reimagined as a football venue. The installation of a football pitch after the Games meant it is now the base for the team Rubin Kazan who have played there since August 2013.
British visitors will be keen to learn that the stadium was designed by the same architects as Wembley and the Emirates. Viewed from the air, this structure has been constructed to resemble a water lily. But all eyes will be on the pitch when the Confederations Cup kicks off.
