Overview
Basecamp Ak-Kem is situated in Altai Mountains on the bank of the Ak-Kem River in a forest area at the height of 1.950 m. There are wooden tourist shelters, administrative building with a canteen, banya, camping place with 4-persons big tents, volleyball ground. This is the basic camp for Belukha ascents.
Accommodation options
Tents
Big stationary 3-4-persons summer tents with a separate entrance zone. Alternatively you are free to use the same personal tent while touring. You can also upgrade your accommodation at Ak-Kem. Please see the options below. Prices are subject to change.
Tourist shelter
Two-storied wooden buildings in the Russian style with 4 rooms featuring bunk beds, stools and a table. The shelter is heated by an oven. All facilities are outdoors.
