Day 2

Lake Khukh Nuur - Enthrone of Chinggis Khan
Following an early breakfast, our journey will take us on a scenic drive to Khukh Nuur, located 215 kilometers from Ulan Bator. This drive not only covers a significant distance but also offers a captivating introduction to the country's landscape and culture.
Upon arrival, we will savor a delicious lunch at the Khukh Nuur tourist camp, which is situated near Khukh Nuur itself. Khukh Nuur holds historical significance as the place where Temujin was bestowed with his legendary title "Chinggis Khaan." After lunch, we will have the opportunity to visit the lake and explore the Khar Zurkhen (Black Heart) Mountain. A historian will provide us with valuable insights into Chinggis Khaan's life, which is closely tied to this region.
The day will conclude with a satisfying dinner and an overnight stay in a ger camp. The total driving distance for the day is approximately 215 kilometers, equivalent to 135 miles. (B/L/D).

Binder Soum
Day 3
Binder Soum – Almsgiver’s Wall
In the morning, we will journey to Binder Soum, which is approximately 220 kilometers away from Lake Khukh Nuur. Our destination is the famous Uglugchiin Kherem Wall, a remarkable structure that stretches for 3 kilometers entirely built of stones without the use of mortar. This wall is one of the world's lesser-known wonders. At its highest point, it stands at 3.1 meters, and around it, you'll find approximately 60 tombs scattered in the vicinity. Notably, Oglochiin Kherem is believed to be a potential burial site for many significant historical Mongol figures, including Chinggis Khaan or Khubilai Khaan.
We'll enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this historical wonder and spend the night in a ger camp. The total driving distance for the day is around 220 kilometers, equivalent to 138 miles. (B/L/D)

Dadal Soum
Day 4
Drive to Dadal Soum - Chinggis Khan’s Birthplace
In the morning, we will embark on a 120-kilometer drive to Dadal Soum, which is Chinggis Khaan's birthplace and is located approximately 120 kilometers away from Binder Soum. The journey will follow the picturesque banks of the Onon River, a river that stretches from Russia into Mongolia. The drive is not only scenic but also offers excellent photographic opportunities.
Upon arrival, we will reach our ger camp, situated near Chinggisiin Gurvan Lake. In the afternoon, we will have the chance to visit a Buriad family, providing us with a unique cultural experience. The Buriad people inhabit the easternmost section of the world's longest border, which stretches from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Japan.
Dinner will be served at the ger camp, where we will also spend the night. The total driving distance for the day is approximately 120 kilometers, equivalent to 75 miles. (B/L/D)
Day 5
Birthplace of Chinggis Khaan Guided Tour
Today, we will explore the birthplace of Chinggis Khaan, known as Deluun Boldog, and the scenic Chinggisiin Gurvan Lake. A historian will guide us on a unique journey through the life of Chinggis Khan, providing valuable insights into his history and legacy. Following this enlightening experience, we will visit the Chinggis Khaan Monument, paying homage to the great leader.
In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to enjoy horseback riding on the vast Mongolian steppes, immersing ourselves in the nomadic culture and landscape. The day will conclude with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay in a ger camp. (B/L/D)

Day 6
Visit Undurkhaan
We will drive to the center of Khentii province, Undurkhaan, which is approximately 260 kilometers (160 miles) away from Dadal. Undurkhaan offers a rich array of cultural and historical experiences for visitors, with attractions that include museums, monuments, and sites connected to Genghis Khan.

Khuduu Aral
Day 7
Khuduu Aral & the “Secret History of the Mongols”
Today's journey takes us to Khuduu Aral, located 135 kilometers (about 85 miles) from Undurkhaan. Khuduu Aral is of immense historical significance as it was the place where the "Secret History of the Mongols" was written in 1240. This historical account provides valuable insights into the lives, wars, and political developments of the Mongols during the time of Genghis Khan.
In the same area, archaeologists have unearthed the ruins of the ancient city of Aurag. After lunch, we will explore Chinggis Khaan's monument and the remnants of Aurag city. It is believed that Chinggis Khaan used to drink from the natural mineral springs near these ruins.
The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in a ger camp, surrounded by the rich history of this region. (B/L/D)

Day 8
XIII Century Park Guided Trip
Today, we will journey to the XIII century park, a unique complex covering an area of 15 x 15 kilometers. This park is divided into six camps, each representing different tribes, and everything is built in the style of the 13th century. It offers a distinctive and immersive experience, providing valuable insights into Mongol history and culture.
For the night, we will stay in a ger camp within this extraordinary park, surrounded by the historical ambiance of the 13th century. The day's drive will cover a distance of approximately 150 kilometers, which is equivalent to 95 miles. (B/L/D)

Ulan Bator
Day 9
Transfer by car / minibus: XIII Century Park - Ulaanbaatar
Today, we will begin our journey back to Ulan Bator, covering a distance of approximately 96 kilometers (about 60 miles). En route, we will make a stop at the renowned Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, a significant tribute to Mongolia's historical figure.
Upon arriving in Ulan Bator, we will arrange your transfer to your hotel, where you will spend the night in comfort and relaxation. (B/L/D)
